well, after 6 months of lessened foot turnover, the time is ripe for a resurgence.
7.3 15.4 mile loop at the lake house. slow and steady. dips in the two creeks available.
7.4 swam to dam and walked back in the AM, then 15.4 mi loop. self-destructed with 4 miles to go and walked it in. a mile is a mile though.

7.7 10 miles on silver comet trail in atl. 71 minutes. wow. 37 minutes out, 34 minutes back.
7.8 10 mi to 4 way stop and back. nice and easy in the evening.
7.9 swam to dam and walked back in the AM, then 10 mi to 4 way stop and back in the evening. tough and walked a few miles at the end.
total: 79.2 miles
boy, if i'd guessed how many miles i'd be able to handle this week, i'd have said 55, tops. some was really slow and destructo, but the 71 minute 10 spot at silver comet was amazing. step one is keep the miles up and drop the excess weight. step two is pick the target and take aim.......GA AT speed attempt this fall in under 19 hours??
